POLOKWANE, LIMPOPO — Limpopo anti-drug activist Tsebe Philemon Moloto, commonly known as “Mr Moloto,” appeared in the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court, where the State brought nine additional charges against him.
Moloto was previously before the court on two counts of malicious damage to property, arising from separate alleged incidents in Polokwane.
The additional charges reportedly comprise five counts of attempted murder, two further counts of malicious damage to property, and two charges relating to alleged trespassing and a Toyota Hilux double cab.
Moloto is associated with the Limpopo Anti-Drug, Gangsterism and Crime (LADGAC) rehabilitation centre.
The matter was postponed to 30 October 2026. The prosecution is expected to seek a determination from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) regarding the appropriate court in which the matter should proceed.
The charges are allegations that have not been tested or proven in court. Moloto has not been convicted of any of the offences and remains presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
Vision6000 News will continue to monitor the proceedings and report on developments as they occur.
