Five Killed in Horror Multi-Vehicle Crash on R524 Near Louis Trichardt

Five people have lost their lives in a devastating multi-vehicle collision on the R524 outside Louis Trichardt in Limpopo, after five vehicles, including a police vehicle, were involved in a head-on crash on Tuesday.

The fatal collision occurred approximately five kilometres outside Louis Trichardt, leaving emergency services faced with a major recovery and rescue operation along the busy provincial road.

According to information available, the crash involved five vehicles, with the force of the collision resulting in multiple casualties. Five people were declared dead following the incident.

Two additional people were injured and required urgent medical attention. One of the injured victims sustained critical injuries, while the second person was reported to have suffered serious injuries.
