The multimillion-rand deceased estate fraud case before the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court is deepening, with the State moving to add further charges against four accused, including suspended attorney Charlotte Tibana, who now faces 111 counts.

Tibana, whom investigators have identified as the alleged mastermind, is accused of being at the centre of a scheme involving funds belonging to deceased estates and their beneficiaries.

Her husband, Tshwane Metro Police Department Constable Peter “Gagash” Nonyane, is also expected to be formally informed of the additional charges during the latest court proceedings.

The other accused are Rirandzu Tibana, Jabulani Maluleke and Maluleke’s company, Risima Jeje Trading Enterprise.
