Khan Associate Gunned Down Ahead of Madlanga Commission Testimony

An alleged associate of dismissed Crime Intelligence boss Major-General Feroz Khan has been shot and killed in a suspected targeted attack in Ekurhuleni.

The victim was reportedly travelling in a vehicle when gunmen opened fire, killing him and wounding another passenger.

The shooting has raised concerns because it comes just one day before Khan is expected to appear before the Madlanga Commission, where he is due to give testimony.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and authorities have yet to establish whether the attack is linked to Khan’s upcoming testimony.
